What we collect
On our hosted service: your organization name, the founder’s email, the team member names and optional contact details you add, interview answers, and the briefs compiled from them. If you connect a system (such as a code repository or a business-metrics endpoint), we read only the weekly aggregate counts described on the product pages — never the underlying records.
What we never do
We do not sell data, run advertising, profile individuals, or use your organization’s content to train models for anyone else. Interview answers are shown to your founder exactly as given — that is the product — and to no other customer, ever.
AI processing
If your deployment uses a cloud AI model, interview transcripts are sent to that provider under your configuration to produce summaries and counsel — nothing else is sent. In local-model or deterministic mode, no content leaves your deployment.
Self-hosted installs
A self-hosted UpNextFounder sends us nothing: no telemetry, no analytics, no error reports, no heartbeat. Your data lives in plain files on your own machine.
Retention and deletion
Hosted data is kept while your account is active. Ask us to delete your organization and we delete it — completely, within 30 days. Self-hosted data is yours; deleting the data folder is deletion.
