In local mode it makes no external calls at all, and with a local model (Ollama) plus a local Whisper server you get full AI features — synthesis, expert counsel, spoken answers — without a single byte leaving your building.

No. The weekly check-in is three questions and about two minutes, and answers can be spoken — a 30-second voice note from a phone works. Most of the brief comes from your systems (code activity, sales metrics) automatically; people only add what machines can’t see.
